For more than thirty years the Orpheo Mikro has been the proven foundation of GuideXpresse: an audioguide known for superior sound quality, exceptional battery life and on-board multi-language storage. Built for heavy public use — shockproof and weatherproof — it features dual headphone jacks, ideal for sharing the experience. Visitors can operate it manually or let audio start automatically via infrared beacons, optionally synced with screens for multilingual content.

Automatic triggering & video sync
Using infrared technology, the Orpheo Mikro automatically plays the right audio clip as soon as a visitor enters a predefined zone — fully hands-free. Because all content is stored locally on the device, playback starts instantly, in the visitor's chosen language, without any lag. For exhibitions with screens, the guide syncs seamlessly with the displayed footage, per language.
Battery & charging station
A single charge delivers more than 18 hours of continuous use. The charging rack holds 24 devices at once and fully recharges them within 4 hours. Choose a free-standing charger (DESK) or a 19" rack-mountable version (BAY).

With GuideXpresse Mikro Manager™ your own team manages the content: adjust routes, swap audio, or rearrange the tour order — without needing outside help. GuideXpresse remains available for technical support whenever you need it.
